Game experience
Short Story: Veteran
Long Story: Started with Pong for the TV, then Atari, then on the 8086 PC, etc. Always loved first-person shooters like Doom and Quake but then really started to like strategy games like Warcraft (but not the hex games). Favorite game of all time that had everything I always wanted was the Battlefield 1942 series and playing it online. Once I had children, online gaming ceased because I needed to pause at a moments notice so strategy games and offline campaigns are my focus now.

I'm all about the files. I try to help fix broken downloads, missing images, search tags, remove unjustified ratings, remove rude comments, add helpful suggestions to mod authors on how to improve the quality of mods released, nag Dark0ne about new site features, etc.

Work experience
I have a Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer Science and have gained much experience working for a $40+ billion company. I currently work for a health care clinic with 40 multi-specialty physicians as a database administrator in order to facilitate their transformation from paper charts to electronic medical records.

Back to the early pen and paper days of D&D, all consoles from the early Atari up to the ps2. Mainly RGP and a few FPS for fun.

Nexus duties
Primarily a file Modertor....trying to keep all mods available and links working. Secondary, removing posts/ratings that say "This mod sux", trying to keep the mods comments relevant and constructive.

Work experience
Retired US Army, now working for Qwest Communications, as a telephone and high speed internet networking technician.

Game experience
Started playing games when I was 3 on the Atari ST, favourite game was Fantasy Island Dizzy. Moved onto the Sega Megadrive before my family bought a PC at the age of 10 and never looked back to consoles (except the obvious Goldeneye/Perfect Dark stint). Now I'm an avid FPS, RPG, strategy and MMO player. Favourite game of all time is X-COM:Apocalypse. I loved X-COM: Enemy Unknown but the real-time combat in Apocalypse clinches it for me.

Nexus duties
Site admin and coder. I'm the one who designs and codes the site and maintains the forums. Also try to reply to the many emails sent via the site each day.

Game experience
Cut my gaming teeth on Macs, playing Tetris, then moved onto Doom, at which point I was fully hooked on computer gaming. After that came Quake (on PC by then), and I became a fairly well-known Quake 3 player on Barrysworld (long gone now, sadly), playing in international leagues at high level. I was my clan's top railgunner with a lethal aim!

Started modding back in the Doom days as well, and have been modding games ever since.

Nexus duties
Kicking trolls! Keeping the peace where I can and patrolling the files.

Work experience
Worked most of my working life painting pictorial pub signs, moving over to Photoshop when that appeared on the scene. For the last 15 I worked freelance, but retired last year due to disability.

Game experience
Pencil & paper D&D in the 70s, Space War on a Mainframe. Text based games, Original Wolfenstien, Hexen, Doom, Warcraft until they ruined it by making it multiplayer online. Return to Castle Wofenstein, Age of Empires and of course Oblivion. I haven't tackled Fallout 3 yet.

Troll stomping, Removing unfounded ratings, Helping people new to mods, trying to keep members civil.

Work experience
This could be a small book. Lots of various experience, mostly Industrial Electronics and Computer. BS, Computer Science, BS Business Admin and I work as an electronic troubleshooter.
4 years US Marine Corps
Have worked in Telephone, Security systems, Programming, Electronic Field service, Telephone support, Motor Controls, CCTV. I have been a janitor and a CEO. (not much difference, both take out the trash).
Currently semi retired, I do some consulting on large industrial motor controls.
