Nexus Sites are owned and paid for solely by the owner of the site, Robin. Nexus sites use three powerful web servers to display the sites and forums and four file servers (using 325mbit - 400mbit/sec in bandwidth) in seperate locations to provide the file downloads. As a result the site costs a lot of money to run and maintain. The site generates some revenue from advertising found across the site but it is also supported by generous members of the community, known as Premium Members, who are willing to pay for additional features on the site. Without both the advertising and Premium Member revenue streams Nexus Sites would not be able to continue and develop.

How much does it cost?

Premium membership is available in increments of one month, three months, six months, a year or as a one-off lifetime payment. All options are non-recuring which means you are not bound to any sort of recuring monthly fee and your membership should be upgraded instantly once your payment has been processed by Pay Pal. Current prices for premium membership are as follows:

• 1 month: £2.49 ($4.05 USD*)
• 3 months: £6.99 ($11.38 USD*)
• 6 months: £11.99 ($19.52 USD*)
• 12 months: £19.99 ($32.55 USD*)
• Life-time membership: £39.99 ($65.11 USD*)

Every member on the site is important to me but people who help to financially support the site are especially important as they've used some of their hard earned cash to help me out. Supporters and feature comparison

As of May 2010 there is a new member group known as "Supporters". Supporters are people who have donated a small fee of £1 ($1.55) to gain access to a couple of additional features and sections of the site, most noteably the Supporter only Image Share section. Supporters are not Premium Members and do not have access to Premium Member features. All Premium Members past and present are automatically given access to Supporter features as standard and if you become a Premium Member then you will have access to all Supporter features for as long as you are a member here, even after your Premium Membership expires.

Becoming a premium member

If you would like to help support this site and become a premium member then that is great. Thank you! The premium membership setup and payment is processed via the site forums, in conjunction with PayPal. You DO NOT need a PayPal account in order to pay for premium membership. Please follow these instructions:

Access the paid subscriptions section of your member area on the site forums. Use your site username and password to login if you are not already logged in.

Choose the amount of premium membership time you would like. Each package is self explanatory, telling you how long your premium membership will last, and how much it will cost. Once selected, click the "Continue to select a payment method ..." button.

Select the PayPal option (the only option at this time) and click the "Continue ..." button.

Click the large "PayPal, click here to pay" button. You will now be sent to PayPal for payment processing.

There are now two options; if you have a PayPal account, and wish to pay via your PayPal account, simply login to PayPal using the login box and proceed with the payment as you would any other payment. You do not need a PayPal account. You can pay by debit or credit card by clicking the "Continue" link under "Don't have a PayPal account?".

Enter the details requested, and proceed to pay. Your account will automatically be upgraded* to the "Premium Member" group. To begin using your Premium Member account, simply logout of the site, then login again. THANK YOU for your support!

You have the option to donate money to the site without becoming a premium member if you so wish (please be aware donating to the site will not give you premium membership). Simply click the button below to be sent to PayPal for payment processing, and thank you.
