Dragon Age - Changing some hair/parts/tints/makeup/tats mid-game:Update: I have changed a character's custom hair to a Jaheira style, skin tone, makeup, and tats, and don't notice any problems..
Dragon Age is great, but too bad there's no way to do this stuff in-game. If my girlfriend played it, I'd be doing a lot more of this. :-] ...unless it breaks things! which I doubt. B-)
This is a lot easier than defending Redcliffe and it can all be done with the game running.
We'll want a tool that knows hexes. How about XVI32? It's a tidy freeware editor that works like a champ, so grab it:

Single player RPGs like Dragon Age: Origins are starting to make MMORPGs look like better and better deals. It seems like every month now there's new content out for Dragon Age that costs some money. While this is great it's also something that's essentially been done for a while in the subgenre that is MMORPGs.Many MMORPGs provide players with constant updates to the game that are included in the monthly subscription cost. Eve Online has released multiple expansion packs for free that have brought new quests, galaxies, ships, and more into the world. World of Warcraft releases new raid dungeons and PvP scenarios as needed to satisfy the player base and keep them motivated to play. In addition you get the hosting of thousands of ...

This walkthrough assumes you have some working knowledge of the basics of Blender, know how to find and extract various files from the toolset, and have been able to import/export mesh files from the Toolset into Blender. What this walkthrough will do is attempt to explain how you can take two different mesh files (an armour mesh and a body mesh for instance) and combine them into one. For simplicity sake I am going to refer to the two types as Armour A and Armour B, but obviously one of your choices may be a body or clothing type, and so on. This is the process used to create the armours for the “A Little Leg—combined mesh” mod, for instance:

----- An EASY Guide to making those "Too Big" Dragon Age weapons the Right Size. Or if you want to change the size of something else. ------- Ok, so there's a lot of folks that think that some of the weapons in Dragon Age are too big. So what I'm going to do here, is show you how you can make them a size that you would prefer (Resample/Rescale them) to a size more to your own personal preference. -- You can actually use this method to resample the majority of the models that are in the vanilla content. Such as armor, weapons, monsters, shields, etc. --

This walkthrough is for those that use Blender and want to know how to take the bone structure from an existing mesh and transfer it to thier custom made mesh. This guide assumes you already know the basics of Blender, have the script by NewBypower installed that lets you import/export DragonAge mesh files, and have created your custom mesh.Intro: If you use Blender and either make a custom mesh or combine parts of several different mesh files into one, you'll notice that in game its shape loses its structure and looks like your creation was made out of clay that's been played with by a three year old.
In order for it to maintain its proper shape, you need to do a "bone weight copy." To do so, follow these s ...

---How to install Natural Bodies All In One---Ok, there's been a lot of folks that have been having problems installing this Override, so here's my tutorial on how to do it, and trying to cover some of the issues that folks have been having.
Mismatched Textures- MassChuj22 has brought it to my attention that if you try to mix and match body parts in the newer versions of this mod, that the colors don't match. So if you run into this problem, reconfigure the body parts to use parts from all one body. Like All NB for NB or All RL for RL. Thanks MUCH MassChuj22! And to Thandal for the confirmation and input on the issue! http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/224321-natural-bodies-problem/

The problemIf you use the built in screenshot creator in Dragon Age: Origins and try to upload your screenshot to this site then your image will not generate a thumbnail image, it will just be blank, which can be irritating for everyone.
An example of a blank thumbnail in the image share section
Why this problem occurs
BioWare, in their divine wisdom, decided to add some extraneous miscellaneous information to the start of the image data before the image header (such as your character, the time of the screenshot, who took it and so on) that breaks the thumbnail creation script on this site...because that data isn't meant to be stored in the image itself. In an ideal world I would be much b ...
